Cherry Lane Productions produces and distributes cultural documentaries directed and edited by
Patrick Mullins, and offers high-definition digital video production and editing services to: community organizations and cultural foundations wishing to document or promote their operations through educational videos; members of the general public interested in family story videos and family history videos; and to individual artists and musicians seeking broader exposure through promotional videos.

In both its independent documentaries and sponsored videos, Cherry Lane Productions specializes in non-fiction, interview-based storytelling that explores the unique experience of film subjects.

With a special interest in social history documentary, cultural movements and cultural preservation, family history, and biography, as well as music and art, our videos typically have a strong historical component, employing a variety of archival elements to support the visual storytelling.

These materials include old photographs, amateur films and videos, as well as historic documents and artifacts.

With extensive experience retouching old photographs, and incorporating obsolete formats of film, video, and audio materials into the video editing process, we also help organize and preserve your archival materials, while employing them as invaluable tools in the storytelling process.

Cherry Lane Productions serves the New York metropolitan area and the lower Hudson River Valley region and beyond. It welcomes inquiries from potential clients who have a story to tell and a desire to see that story realized as a well-told, finely-crafted video.

Patrick Mullins has over 25 years experience in documentary video production and editing, along with 20 years of music editing experience for dramatic feature films and television. For information about his credits see the “About” page.
